My new nail polish obsession is official. Most companies like china glaze, sinful colors and zoya to name a few are coming out with nail polish accent or top coats with flakes. These five the most amazing finish when applied over light and dark colors. Here is an example. I have Sally hansen casting call on with china glaze luxe and lush.

Summer baby.

   I am watch you would call a sun baby, having been born at the end on July and all.  I have always loved the flowing drapey grecian dresses.  This post is inspired by the top I wore on a date tonight....a simple white sleeveless draped top from express.  So go out and worship the sun, with SPF of course!  You don't want to turn into a leather bag ladies and gents!

For those of you that watch NY INK on tlc thursday nights at 10 my long time friend whom I've known since middle school is tattooing on the show.  Her name is Megan (goes by megan massacre) she has always been an amazing artist and when she puts her tattoo gun to skin she makes amazing life long art work.  I have a few tattoos by her done about 7 years ago when she was just starting out.  So for my 12th tattoo I plan to go visit her at the wooster street social club in Soho (where she is working and the show was filmed) and get a tattoo of a great icon tattooed on my right thigh.  Bettie Paige is who I'm talking about.

I hope to go visit in a few weeks.  Please watch the show and show your support!!! When I get the tattoo I'll be sure to post a photo on the blog.  Until then here and two of the images that I am contemplating between...

What Im loving.

You see is all over the magazines and on the web.  Bright lips with a retro cat eye.  I am adoring this. Its simple yet daring. Great for summer. Would look great paired with jeans, v-neck tshirt and a fedora hat.

Sorry I have been hiding away from my blog lately but as usual I'm having internet connection problems! Spring has finally sprung and I couldn't be more excited to see all the colors come back to life outside. Is it warming up where you live? This is going to be short and to the point but I just wanted to pop on here and let you know that hopefully i will be back in action blogging about fashion/beauty and my daily life!

Florals for spring!

As a massage therapist my hair has to be kept back all day and that can get pretty boring! If your in the same boat as me finding subtle hair accessories like the adorable on trend floral head band from forever 21 will do the trick. You can also try putting a small braid on one side and pull you hair in a low pony and its a good thing low messy buns are in I rock that too! I'm a fashionista at heart who 5 days a week has to wear her hair back and wear scrubs but I love my career and its worth it.

Want a clarasonic but dont have $200 to spend on one? I have discovered the Olay ProX version of a clarasonic and I got mine for $25 it works just as well, they even look almost identical.  I am very pleased with the deep clean it gives my face. HANDS DOWN I THINK THIS IS THE BEST PALETTE FOR SPRING! THIS WILL DEFINITLY GET YOU OUT OF THE WINTER FUNK.
